TECHNICAL TRANSLATION

The car industry, fuels, medicine, pharmacy, chemistry, engineering, biology, botany, energy, electricity, metallurgy, finance, patents, law, new technologies, telecommunications, public administration, jurisprudence, etc.

Each branch of activity or industrial or service sector has its own specific technical terminology, and for this reason, when translating a document, it is often necessary to provide an extra degree of precision for the final result to be satisfactory. There are of course certain fields or specialised areas which, because of their more or less standardised use or level of accessibility can cause more or less problems than others, in the same way that a more generic type of specialised text can be easier to deal with than one that is more specific or complicated. It is for these reasons that our rates for technical translation are not the object of a surcharge, unless the difficulty of the documents requires a greater investment in time and resources, something that we notify to the customer at the time of sending him or her the relevant estimate.

In Tradulab we dispose of an extensive database of qualified and experienced translators, grouped together according to their native language and the knowledge and specialised areas of each one. Depending on the specific field and the technical level of each project, we assign it to the most competent translator for each case, and when the translation has been finished, we submit it for a further exhaustive revision by professionals from each sector in order to guarantee an optimum final result.
